Comcast Downtown Slam 3on3 Overview
The Comcast Downtown Slam 3on3 is partnering with Connect 3on3 Basketball and the Tuscaloosa Sports Foundation this May!!! Connect 3 on 3 and Family Fun Zone is an event that is geared to provide great competition for those who are looking for a well-organized 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. While it is a day of basketball, it is also a day where families can come and enjoy a day of fun activities in the Family Fun Zone. So whether you are looking to play basketball or looking for something fun to do with your family...this event is for you. (For those playing basketball you must pre-register.)

As you review the schedule of the day you will notice there is something going on all day from basketball games, $10,000 Hot Shot Competition, carnival games, door prizes, gift bags, inflatables games and so much more...

Schedule
7:00 am - Registration/Check In Begins
8:00 am - Team Captain Meeting
8:30 - Morning Pool Play Begins for Basketball Teams
10:00 - Family FunZone Opens
11:30 - Lunch
12:15 pm - $10,000 Hot $hot Competition
12:30 - Games Resume (Tournament Begins)
3:00 - Family FunZone Closes
3:00 - Championship Rounds Begin
4:45 - Award Ceremony



The Tuscaloosa Sports Foundation, established in 2007, operates with a mission to provide, organize, and administer youth, amateur, and professional sports activities, programs, and events to enhance the quality of community life in the Tuscaloosa County area. In just over two years of operation the TSF is off to a great start, most recently hosting the Alabama High School Athletic Association’s Super Six football championships in Bryant Denny Stadium, the first of three such events in the next six years. Other TSF initiatives have included collegiate rugby, gymnastics, basketball, Olympic development soccer, youth baseball, softball and events with Olympic bronze medalist Deontay Wilder.
